Cheez-It, a Kellogg brand, Battle Creek. Mich., has rolled out Cheez-It Snap’d Scorchin’ Hot Cheddar for a limited time this summer. The new snack is a thin and crispy cheese cracker, featuring heat, garlic and umami.
“Lunch has become the mundane or forgotten meal, but with the cheesy, thin and crispy crunch from Cheez-It Snap'd we're bringing that 'I can't wait until lunch' feeling back,” said Erin Storm, senior marketing director of Cheez-It. “With the debut of Cheez-It Snap'd Scorchin' Hot Cheddar, we're spicing up lunchtime and sending taste buds on a fiery, cheesy ride—making an unskippable lunch experience with a blazing kick.”
Old Bay, Baltimore, partnered with Goldfish, Norwalk, Conn., to create Old Bay Seasoned Goldfish.
“Old Bay seasoning is delicious on everything from seafood to French fries and everything else! We know our passionate fans often sprinkle Old Bay on their favorite recipes and snacks, including Goldfish crackers,” said Jill Pratt, chief marketing officer, McCormick & Co. “With each handful, Old Bay Seasoned Goldfish provides our most loyal fans with another fun, bold way to experience our popular spice blend.”
Old Bay Seasoned Goldfish crackers are made with Old Bay's popular spice blend including black pepper, paprika, celery salt and red pepper flakes.
The snack is available for a limited time in 6.6-ounce bags with a suggested retail price of $2.79.
Doritos, a Frito-Lay brand based in Purchase N.Y., launched Doritos 3D Crunch Three Cheese in partnership with Stranger Things to celebrate the show’s latest season.
The new limited edition snack features cheddar, Monterey jack and parmesan cheese. It joins six other flavors—Doritos 3D Crunch Spicy Ranch, Doritos 3D Crunch Chili Cheese Nacho, Doritos Nacho Cheese, Doritos Cool Ranch, Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili and Doritos Spicy Nacho, all of which have Stranger Things packaging.
Additionally, consumers who find exclusive golden tickets hidden across three 3D Crunch flavors will win an official replica of the guitar prominently featured in Stranger Things 4.
Utz, Hanover, Pa., launched limited-time Ripple potato chips covered with the brand’s Cheddar Cheese Balls flavor.
The innovation was released alongside Utz & Grillo’s Classic Dill flavored potato chips.
