BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Candy manufacturer Just Born Inc. said that Matt Petronio has been promoted to the position of executive vice president and chief operating officer. Petronio has been with Just Born for five years, most recently as vice president of customer and brand development.
"Matt and his team have significantly improved our brand's performance in the market and strengthened our relationship with our customers and consumers, said Ross Born, Co-CEO of Bethlehem, Pa.-based Just Born.
Before coming to Just Born, Petronio [image-nocss] served in various management positions at Procter & Gamble, M&M/Mars and Farmland Dairies.
Samuel Torrence, current president and COO of Just Born, will retire in June 2008 after nearly six years at the helm of Just Born. Torrence will retain the position of president until his retirement.
During his career, he has served in senior executive positions at General Motors, Bridgestone/Firestone and Mack/Volvo Trucks.
