Dari Mart Selects RBS Lynk

Pinnacle certification enhances payment service to c-stores

JUNCTION CITY, Ore. -- Dari Mart Stores Inc. has chosen payment processor RBS Lynk to process credit, debit and electronic benefits transfer (EBT) transactions. The retailer chose RBS Lynk in its search to upgrade store operations and enhance customer convenience by accepting credit and debit for the first time in the company's history, it said.

RBS Lynk is providing payment processing and support for high-speed frame relay communications to all of Dari Mart's stores.

Dari Mart's transition to RBS Lynk included certification of [image-nocss] Pinnacle Corp.'s Palm POS and Pharoh applications with broadband communications support.

"We have a strong commitment to providing convenience stores with the most current payment technologies," said Gary Grant, Atlanta-based RBS Lynk's vice president of petroleum sales. "Our goal is to streamline transaction processing for all retail operations. Dari Mart is an excellent example of our abilities to modernize store operations with extremely fast payment systems that result in faster customer checkout and many more payment options for their customers."

Junction City, Ore.-based Dari Mart Stores operates 43 convenience stores and two Chevron fuel outlets in Oregon's Willamette valley.
