H&S Energy’s Power Market convenience stores has launched a new monthly car wash subscription program powered by Liquid Barcodes. The subscription offers a frictionless and contactless solution for customers and will build recurring revenue for the business, according to the company.

“We are excited to introduce a car wash subscription program to our customers,” said Amir Hasan, president of operations and retail at H&S Energy, Orange, California. “We are offering the ultimate level of convenience to our customers and continue to live up to our mission to be a one-stop shop for refueling, carwash services and a wide variety of snacks, beverages and specialty items.”

The newly released Power Market mobile app includes the car wash subscription, where users can choose between several wash tiers and also purchase single washes, and an in-app game.

“We are incredibly proud to work with the visionaries at H&S Energy,” said Saurabh Swarup, general manager for North America at Liquid Barcodes, Fairfax, Virginia. “Subscription programs for car wash and beverages encourage sustainable customer loyalty, ensure a recurring revenue business model and are must-haves for digital-forward convenience retailers.”

The Power Market app is available for download for Apple and Android devices.

“Car care is extremely important to California drivers and by providing an easy and affordable car wash subscription program, we can be sure our customers will visit our stores frequently to keep their vehicles looking pristine,” said Fidaa Mohrez, senior director of operational systems at H&S Energy.

In March, H&S Energy acquired the retail convenience-store, fuels distribution, cardlock, fleet card, commercial fueling, car wash, lubricants and transportation businesses of Andretti Petroleum Group. Orange, California-based H&S Energy has convenience stores under the Chevron, Texaco, Shell and 76 fuel brands. It operates its c-stores under the ExtraMile banner and under its own proprietary brand, Power Market.
