Destination Media Pumps Up Marketing Initiatives

Archer promoted to marketing manager for Gas Station TV, C-Store TV

DETROIT -- Destination Media, a major provider of out-of-home digital media, has promoted Catherine Archer from content producer to marketing manager. The promotion is a reflection of the continued expansion of digital out-of-home media and an increased demand from the advertising community for more targeted campaigns, according to the company.

In this role, Archer is now responsible for the management and execution of all creative projects for the company and oversight of the marketing efforts of the Gas Station TV and C-Store TV networks. She now also works with the sales and account [image-nocss] management teams to create customized programs for advertisers using mobile, interactive and Gas Station TV's marketing position to reach consumers at a moment of focus while they are on the go.

Continuing the responsibilities of her previous role at Gas Station TV as content producer, Archer produces, writes, art directs and supervises the development of spots for paid advertisers, promotions for retail gasoline partners and public service announcements. Archer also is responsible for creation of the company's online and print marketing collateral, developing brand messaging, directing the public relations team and managing ongoing relationships with partners.

Destination Media is an active acquirer, developer and operator of digital out-of-home media networks. By the end of 2008, Destination Media will reach more than 300 million viewers each year at the many away-from-home destinations in their lives through media including Gas Station TV and C-Store TV, the Detroit-based company claims. These networks transform daily consumer destinations to highly sought-after media environments to inform and influence consumers at a desirable point of purchase. Destination Media reaches consumers when they are mobile and can be influenced to take action at a nearby retailer or to drive engagement for brand marketers. Current programming includes news and entertainment from CBS, sports from ESPN and weather from AccuWeather.
