Wilson Farms Raises Dough With Bread

Portions of Stroehmann sales to be donated to charities

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Wilson Farms said that during the month of March, a portion of the proceeds of all Stroehmann packaged bread products will be donated to the Variety Kids Telethon and Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo. Included in this month-long promotion are all Stroehmann, D'Italiano and Dutch Country Breads.

"Wilson Farms is delighted to be working closely with George Weston/Stroehmann Bakery for such a worthy cause," said president and CEO Paul Nanula. "We have had a longstanding relationship with the bakery and are thrilled to be involved at the store level to help raise [image-nocss] money for the Variety Kids Telethon and Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo."

George Weston/Stroehmann vice president of sales Frank Catarisano added, "We are honored and appreciative that Wilson Farms has asked us to join them in this exciting fundraising effort."

The fundraiser runs through the month of March at participating western New York Wilson Farms Neighborhood Food Stores.

Buffalo, N.Y.-based Wilson Farms currently operates 196 convenience store and gas station locations across the state of New York.
