CHICAGO — As interest in cannabidiol-infused products grows—Kwik Trip and Sheetz each began selling a variety of products this spring—so does the number of manufacturers getting in on the burgeoning product segment. Here's a look at seven CBD- , hemp- or cannabis-infused beverages coming to market ...
Keef Brands has brought its line of cannabis-infused sodas, Keef Cola, to Northern California. Introduced nearly a decade ago in Boulder, Colo., Keef Cola is made with CO2 cannabis extract and pure cane sugar. Each 12-fluid ounce bottle contains 10 milligrams of THC, along with vitamins C, B3, B6, and B12. Five flavors in 12-ounce aluminum bottles—Keef Cola Original, Bubba Kush Root Beer, Blue Razz, Orange Kush and Purple Passion—will be available at dispensaries throughout Northern California for adult use only.
Daytrip, a cannabis lifestyle brand, released its CBD infused sparkling water in June. This initial beverage line from San Francisco-based Daytrip is available in four fruit flavors: Cherry, Coconut Pineapple, Lemon Lime and Tangerine. Daytrip also plans to introduce a THC-infused sparkling-water line, which will be available in California dispensaries this summer. Each Daytrip beverage contains 5 calories and includes 10 milligrams of CBD per can, retailing at $4.99 in the general market and $49.99 per 12-pack available at wearedaytrip.com. The THC line will feature the same four flavors and 5 milligrams of THC per 12-ounce can.
