Wendy's Adds Nestle Pure Life to Menu

Jamba rolls out energy drink

STAMFORD, Conn. Wendy's has added Nestle Pure Life Purified brand bottled water to its beverage menu, demonstrating a continued commitment to offering patrons nutritious food and beverage options.

"Increasingly, people want nutritious foods and beverages, and Nestle Pure Life provides Wendy's customers with a refreshing, calorie-free choice," said Rex Griswold, vice president of sales for Nestle Waters North America. "Premium-quality water is a vital ingredient in healthy lifestyles, and we're excited to be working with one of the world's leading restaurant brands to [image-nocss] help hydrate customers across the country."

Nestle Pure Life is the No. 1 bottled water brand in America.

"By offering Nestle Pure Life bottled water, our customers have a quality water option from a brand they can trust."

The -liter bottle of Nestle Pure Life sold at Wendy's is recyclable and has the lightest environmental impact of any other packaged beverage on the market thanks to its minimal plastic content, according to Nestle Waters, Stamford, Conn.

Meanwhile, Jamba Juice announced that, in addition to the Nestl a USA retail launch in the Northeast which began in February 2011, the smoothie chain will begin selling Nestl a Jamba All-Natural Energy Drinks in almost 600 Jamba Juice locations across the nation beginning on March 15.

The Nestl a Jamba All-Natural Energy Drinks will be available in three fruit flavors: strawberry banana, crisp apple, and pomegranate blueberry. The energy-drink beverages contain no artificial preservatives, flavors or colors, no trans fat and no high-fructose corn syrup. Additionally, each 8.4-ounce can contains 70% real fruit juice, 80 milligrams of caffeine derived from natural sources, is fat free and 90 calories per serving.
