UltraONE Rolls Out Restaurant Rewards at TA, Petro Stopping Centers

Program allows drivers to swipe and earn at all of chains' restaurants

WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC (TA) has unveiled the UltraONE "Your Restaurant Rewards" program. The new full-service benefit allows drivers to swipe and earn with their UltraONE loyalty program card at all TA and Petro Stopping Centers full-service and fast food restaurants.

The company created the program for professional drivers in response to a driver survey, whereby thousands of recipients provided feedback on how and when they wanted to earn dining rewards.

Drivers earn "visits" each time their card is swiped, and have the option to redeem as [image-nocss] they earn or save for bigger or multiple rewards: With 5 visits, drivers can receive a FREE beverage or dessert; with 10 visits, drivers can save $5 anytime; or drivers who swipe at 20 visits can save $15 anytime.

"We want drivers to know we value their opinion and have a great deal of respect for the job they do," said Tom O'Brien, TA president and CEO. "They show us loyalty through patronage and membership in our UltraONE Rewards Program. We are showing our dedication to them by tailoring the rewards program to their needs."

The new UltraONE Your Restaurant Rewards program is an industry first, said TA. Never before have professional driver loyalty program rewards been based on driver requests or available for earning and redemption at all food outlets within a site.

The program runs through December 31, 2011.

In other company news, TA has announced the completion of renovations and rebranding of the newest TA full-service travel center at Exit 230 off of Interstate 65 in DeMotte, Ind. The location was previously operated as Gas City, and was purchased by TA in May 2011.

"We are very excited to be able to fly the TA flag in DeMotte. This facility is now shining, and all of its employees are beaming and ready to continue bringing our guests the best customer service on the interstate. The coffee is great, too," said O'Brien.

Improvements at the DeMotte location included: Complete renovation of the full-service restaurant, and rebranding as Country Pride, including the All-You-Can-Eat buffet option. Parking lot resurfacing and complete replacement of the fuel island pad. Fully automated shower system. Complete travel store remodel and upgrade, including new fixtures and coolers, and point-of-sale (POS) enhancements. Addition of BP-branded gasoline. UltraONE Rewards Program kiosk and swiping system. Environmental upgrades to the diesel fueling system. Extensive building enhancements and reimaging.

The DeMotte TA offers drivers many amenities including CAT scale; six private showers; a driver's lounge; WiFi; TripPak; check cashing; faxing/copying; and ATM services. Additional amenities, including a TA Truck Service shop; new high-speed diesel pumps at all eight diesel lanes; and on-island, single dispenser bulk DEF are expected to be added soon.

TA, headquartered in Westlake, Ohio, is a leading travel center business in 41 states and Canada operating under the TravelCenters of America and Petro brands. With convenient locations on interstate exits, TA and Petro offer their customers diesel and gasoline fueling services, full- and quick-service restaurants, heavy truck maintenance services, 24-hour convenience stores, electronic communication (WiFi) and other services, all within large, high-traffic facilities.
