Casey's to Carry LiveWire Energy Chews

Product is pocket-sized, portable alternative to energy drinks, shots
ANKENY, Iowa -- Casey's General Stores Inc. will carry LiveWire Energy, a chewable energy supplement, in the Ankeny, Iowa-based retailer's more than 1,620 store locations in 11 states throughout the Midwest.

The LiveWire Energy chews are a pocket-sized, portable alternative to bulky energy drinks and energy shots.

LiveWire is not a gum, but its similar compactness allows consumers on the run to take it anywhere, anytime for a quick energy boost, the company said. The producxt does not need refrigeration, it added.

Also, LiveWire Energy chews are low in sugar, [image-nocss] calories and carbs, but still offer the same energy boost for much less money than drinks currently on the market, according to the Anaheim, Calif.-based company.

Available in four flavors, the gravity tower displays are highly visible in stores.

"This is a huge step for the continued growth of our LiveWire Energy chew product," LiveWire MC2 LLC CEO Bill Hodson is said. "We are extremely pleased to have distribution through Casey's General Stores, a pioneer in this type of business and second to none in quality, cleanliness and service in the convenience store industry."
