Convenience Valet to Relocate Headquarters

Move supports growing business and need for space

GLENDALE HEIGHTS, Ill. -- Health and beauty care distributor Convenience Valet is relocating its headquarters from Melrose Park, Ill., to Glendale Heights, Ill., to better serve its growing business needs, the company said.

“This is a huge milestone for our company,” said Jim Blosser, executive vice president of sales for Convenience Valet. “I’m most excited about what the expansion will mean in terms of our ability to service our growing customer base and valued vendor partners.”

On March 26, the company will move into the new facility, which is 150,000 square feet and 50% bigger than the previous location of 17 years. The new site will provide the company with the warehouse and office space needed to keep up with its business growth. The location also enhances Convenience Valet’s capacity for efficient shipments and deliveries, with 11 loading docks compared to the current four.

“The decision to expand our warehouse and office space is the logical next step in our growth strategy,” said Steve Jungmann, the company’s recently hired CEO and president. “It sets us up to expand and grow in many new ways, while still delivering our excellent customer service."

Convenience Valet specializes in repacking and distributing brands in the health and beauty care (HBC), automotive and other general-merchandise categories. It distributes more than 500 branded HBC, over-the-counter, personal-care and sundries products in convenience or travel sizes and has an expansive distribution network through which its partners' products can reach consumers nationwide. The company is part of Cleveland-based private-equity group Weinberg Capital Group Co.
