NOCO Express opens remodeled store-within-a-store facility

EAST AURORA, N.Y. -- NOCO Express Stores has opened a newly reconstructed gasoline convenience store in East Aurora, N.Y. The store officially opened for business on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005. The store highlights the store-within-a-store concept, in this instance featuring a Charlie the Butcher Express.

The gasoline convenience store industry is extremely competitive, so we are always looking for ways to improve the products and services as well as provide more convenience and choices to our valuable customers, Henry Bays, general manager of NOCO Express [image-nocss] Stores, said. Partnering with such franchises as Charlie the Butcher helps us achieve this goal.

Charlie the Butcher offers hand-carved roast beef and turkey, as well as a number of additional sandwiches daily for a variety of lunch and dinner options. Customers will be able to choose from a variety of healthy dinner-on-the-go options including roast beef, baked ham, turkey and corned beef. These meats will be available as complete dinners with a choice of side dishes such as potatoes and vegetables everyday after 4 p.m. A variety of salads and homemade soups will also be available everyday.

An in-store seating area is available for up to 16 people.

At 3,000 square feet, the wide-open design of the new NOCO Express Store allows customers to see the entire store when they walk in the door, the company said. An entirely new d acor package, along with expanded cooler and merchandising space and a walk-in beverage cooler, are among the upgrades to the interior.

Our intent in remodeling the East Aurora store is simply to make it even more convenient for our customers to purchase their gasoline outside as well as purchase their goods inside the store as quickly as possible, Bay said. With an enlarged merchandise space, we will be able to offer our customers an expanded selection of items.

The quality and style of the new facility were specifically designed to be consistent with the character of Main Street, East Aurora, said the company. Customers will also find additional parking spots, upgraded fuel pumps and equipment and a propane tank exchange.

Headquartered in Tonawanda, N.Y., NOCO Energy Corp. is a major regional provider of industrial and residential fuels, industrial and commercial lubricants and engine motor oils, heating and cooling services and oil recovery services. NOCO also owns and operates approximately 40 gasoline c-stores throughout Western New York and Rochester.
