Kate Thomson is the new CFO of bp. Thomson has been interim chief financial officer since September 2023, succeeding Murray Auchincloss, who became interim CEO in September following the resignation of CEO Bernard Looney. Before taking on the role of interim CFO, Thomson, who has been with bp since 2004, had been bp’s senior vice president of finance for production and operations, responsible for the financial stewardship of and commercial partnering with the business globally.

Altoona, Pennsylvania-based Sheetz has promoted Emily Sheetz, previously vice president of strategy and information technology, to executive vice president of strategy and information technology (IT). In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing 250 employees from Sheetz’s strategy, IT and innovation teams. Emily will also focus on formalizing the company’s strategic planning processes, forging new working relationships and synergies across the organization.

Kimberli Carroll is the new president and CEO at Frisco, Texas-based Ruiz Food Products. Last September, the company, the largest frozen Mexican food manufacturer in the United States, promoted Carroll to chief operating officer. Carroll, who also will serve on the board of directors, previously served as executive vice president, general manager and chief commercial officer for the company’s foodservice and retail businesses.

Trehan Meenakshi

Meenakshi Trehan is the new chief growth officer for Just Born, a third-generation family-owned candy manufacturer of Peeps, Mike And Ike, Hot Tamales and more. In her new role, Meenakshi will oversee the sales and marketing teams. Meenakshi was most recently vice president of marketing & innovation at Organic Valley, where she led marketing efforts, strategy development and implementation and profit and loss (P&L) for the branded business.
