CHICAGO — A year or so ago, one of my children sheepishly asked if we could subscribe to Disney+, the entertainment giant’s streaming video service. It seems his buddies’ discussions of “The Mandalorian” had finally peaked his FOMO (fear of missing out).
We discussed the cost, weighed the pros and cons, brainstormed ways he could “earn” the access (good grades, chores and so forth). Long story, short: He didn’t miss season two of the Star Wars spinoff.
