Fuel Smart Know-How Move

Reynolds joins Pinnacle

ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Pinnacle Corp. said that it has hired Brian Reynolds as director of fuel solutions. In this capacity, Reynolds will oversee and manage Pinnacle's Fuel Smart fuel management system as it grows and expands throughout the petroleum industry.

Reynolds has had a long career in the fuel business having come from Fuel Masters in Abilene, Texas, where he served as the director of high volume retail operations. Prior to that, he was with H. E. Butt Grocery Co., San Antonio, where he was an invaluable part of establishing the concept of [image-nocss] supermarket fueling.

"Having Brian on board is a tremendous asset to our fuel management solution," said Bob Johnson, Pinnacle's president. "His expertise with petroleum marketing and operations is outstanding, and our clients will be able to immediately leverage his know-how to their advantage."

Arlington, Texas-based Pinnacle's Fuel Smart handles all essential aspects of fuel management from wholesale purchase at a terminal to sale at the pump. It automates the day-to-day tasks of a fuel operation such as gathering prices from suppliers, quoting prices to customers, reconciling invoices, importing store system sales reports and exporting transactions to an accounting program.

In other Pinnacle news, the company was recently presented with a Circle of Excellence award by Dayton, Ohio-based NCR Corp. at the NCR RealPartner Educational Conference. This award is given to an NCR RealPartner who has exceeded its annual sales objective. It also establishes Pinnacle as a Platinum-level partner with NCR.

The NCR RealPartner Program is a worldwide, tiered marketing program for NCR partners who sell or influence the sale of NCR's broad portfolio of retail products. The program includes specific investments that NCR will make to enhance the partnership and is designed to reward partners for their commitment to NCR.

Pinnacle's Palm POS runs on the NCR RealPOS 70, an integrated touchscreen point-of-sale (POS) terminal offering front-component access with direct servicing. Featuring Intel processors, full multimedia capabilities and standard stereo speakers, the RealPOS 70 supports the latest POS applications and can also be used as an interactive training device or customer-ready kiosk.
