PCATS Appoints New Director of Tech Standards Implementation

Replaces Mason, departing for c-store group

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- The Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards (PCATS) said that Susan Hilaski will join its staff on Oct. 17, 2005, as director of technology standards implementation.

Prior to joining PCATS, Hilaski was manager of technology and industry Information for the National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA). At NBWA, she was responsible for promoting, protecting and enhancing the position of 2,000 licensed independent beer wholesalers when dealing with suppliers, retailers, solution providers and other trading partners on [image-nocss] eCommerce, technology, regulatory and market-related issues.

In addition to those duties, Hilaski served as Executive Secretary of the Beer Industry Electronic Commerce Coalition (BIECC) and was responsible for direct education programs, training materials and technology-focused seminars for beer wholesaler owners and employees.

Hilaski replaces Ted Mason, who is leaving PCATS to become Executive Director of the Kentucky Grocers Association/Kentucky Association of Convenience Stores.

PCATS, initiated by the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS), is composed of more than 160 members representing major companies, both supplier and retailer, in the petroleum marketing and convenience industry. PCATS mission is to develop, maintain and help members implement a variety of technology standards.
