Hungry for a World Famous Allsup’s Burrito but don’t live near a convenience-store that sells one? Fans of the deep-fried snack can now purchase packs of frozen burritos online and ship them directly to their home.

Allsup’s and Yesway, which acquired the Clovis, New Mexico-based chain in 2019, announced the new direct-to-consumer offering as part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Allsup’s burrito.

In addition to Allsup’s Beef and Bean Burritos, customers can also order Shredded Beef Chimichanga Burritos and Allsup’s-branded taco sauce and salsa online.

Allsup’s began serving its Beef and Bean Burritos in 1974, and it claims to be the first c-store to deep fry its burritos. The burrito is made with slow-cooked beans, beef, cheese and a special blend of spices, the company said. It sells 27 million burritos each year in its 441 Yesway and Allsup’s stores, which operate in nine states.

This is the first time the snack has been made available for online purchase. The Beef and Bean Burritos and Shredded Beef Chimichanga Burritos come in a six-pack, 12-pack, 24-pack and 48-pack. Superfans of the Beef and Bean Burritos can order a 72-pack.

Allsup’s Taco Sauce and Allsup’s Salsa are available in two- or four-pack sets, or as a mixed set including a two-pack of each. Visit allsups.com/shop to order. Other 50th Anniversary merchandise, like T-shirts, Allsup’s Burrito blankets and pillows and more are available at shopyeswayallsups.com.

More promotions will be announced throughout the year, the Fort Worth, Texas-based retailer said.
