C-Store Distributor Joins Foodservice Alliance

RICHMOND, Va. — Darlington Packing Co., a South Carolina meat wholesaler that serves a diverse convenience-store and foodservice base, is one of four new distributors joining Richmond, Va.-based Legacy Foodservice Alliance’s supply chain alliance.

Darlington Packing, which delivers within a 120-mile radius of its base in Darlington, S.C., has been in business since 1988.

The other companies joining include:

  • Botticelli Foods LLC, Commack, N.Y.: a family-owned Italian distributor specializing in sauces, olive oils, balsamics and pastas.
  • B&B Food Service Inc., Lockport, Ill.: a one-stop-shop wholesale distributor for taquerias and marisco restaurants.
  • Bella Italia Food Services Inc., Asheboro, N.C.: family owned and operated business established in 2019 to serve quality and specialty foods for local food establishments.

Legacy last year welcomed another four distributors: Sam & Son Wholesale Group Inc., Southern Deli Provisions LLC, Athena Farms and U.S. Beef Inc.
