Hot Stuff Taps New Development EVP

Barber will lead franchise, license sales efforts

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Hot Stuff Foods chairman, president and CEO Des Hague has announced the hiring of John Barber as executive vice president of development. In this position, Barber will lead Hot Stuff's franchise and license sales efforts.

Prior to joining Hot Stuff Foods, Barber was the vice president of member development and member services for Foodbuy LLC, a group purchasing organization to the Compass Group and the foodservice industry. His responsibilities included leading the team in all aspects of member management including business development, [image-nocss] staffing, member relations, opportunity analysis and negotiating member agreements.

During his tenure with Foodbuy, the represented purchasing volume doubled by adding new members and organically growing the existing client base.

Barber has also held posts as the COO for Wirca Inc, executive vice president and general manager at MBS, Inc, and was the vice president of marketing equipment management for Pepsi-Cola North America.
