DENVER A new line of frozen foods from Martha Stewart Kitchen is now available in retail and grocery stores nationwide. This is Stewart's first-ever licensing agreement of this kind.

Stewart and her culinary team curated the Martha Stewart Kitchen collection of recipes to offer consumers convenient meal solutions featuring superior ingredients and flavors, said global brand owner and marketer Marquee Brands and MSK Foods, operating company for Martha Stewart Kitchen.

There are more than 40 offerings in the current line, from frozen appetizers and desserts to entrées, side dishes, ready-to-heat grain blends and seasonal vegetables.

Beginning in the fourth quarter and continuing through 2022, Martha Stewart Kitchen will introduce dozens of new products across multiple retail food aisles. Current offerings include:

  • Tomato tartlets
  • Uncured bacon, onion and cheese tart
  • Pigs in a blanket
  • Four cheese macaroni and cheese
  • Martha’s Mother’s Mashed Potatoes with Cream Cheese
  • Sicilian-style beef stew
  • Chicken curry
  • Pork and tomatillo stew
  • Chicken and mushroom pot pie
  • Apple crisp
  • Carrot cake
  • Double chocolate brownies
  • Peach and apple hand pies

“We are proud to offer some of my favorite recipes, including appetizers for entertaining and easy dinner solutions,” said Stewart, who earlier this year was part of a launch of CBD products for pets and was in an ad campaign for a BIC lighter. “This line was developed to bring better quality, better tasting recipes into the marketplace, all at a great value for family consumption.”

Ken Venturi, CEO at MSK Foods, added, “We are coupling Martha’s unprecedented recognition, media platforms and exposure with our capital and partners that represent some of the largest media companies in the world. Together, we have created a recipe to shake up the CPG space.”

The brand will be available in more than 10,000 retail outlets by November 2021, with more than 17 retailers including Kroger, Publix, Albertsons/Safeway, Hannaford, Jewel Osco, Meijer, Woodman’s, King’s Balducci’s, Winn Dixie, ShopRite and Walmart.

MSK Foods is a wholly owned subsidiary of Denver-based Mediacast Venture Holdings, a private investment firm that invests capital and builds businesses in partnership with brands and brand owners.

Marquee Brands, New York, is a global brand owner and marketer. Owned by investor funds managed by Neuberger Berman, Marquee Brands targets high-quality brands with strong consumer awareness and long-term growth potential.
