Sheetz Introduces Kids Meals

Extensive new line of meals showcases health and familiar favorites

ALTOONA, Pa. --Sheetz has rolled out 15 new meal options aimed toward children. The convenience-store chain has extended its foodservice focus to include a made-to-order Kidz Mealz platform for breakfast, lunch and dinner at all of its more than 500 locations.

The overall menu is segmented into two categories, dubbed LiveWell and Classic Kidz. The LiveWell menu features five items that adhere to the National Restaurant Association’s LiveWell requirements, which primarily center on increased consumption of fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains and low-fat dairy, while limiting sugars, sodium and unhealthy fats.

The Classic Kidz menu features traditional kid-friendly fare, from chicken strips to macaroni and cheese.

The LiveWell menu includes:

  • Premium Turkey Sandwich
  • Bacon Breakfast Burrito
  • Premium Chicken Shnack Wrap
  • Egg White Shmuffin
  • Chicken Quesadilla

The Classic Kidz menu features:

  • Premium Grilled Chicken Snack Wrap
  • Quesadilla
  • Mac n’ Cheese
  • Chili Mac n’ Cheese
  • 3-Cheese Mac n’ Cheese
  • Ham & Cheese Sandwich
  • Turkey & Cheese Sandwich
  • Hot Dog
  • 2 Chicken Stripz
  • Jr. Burger

The meals are bundled with a choice of a side item and a drink. Side choices for all Kidz Mealz include fruit and strawberry yogurt, and beverages such as milk and apple juice.
