Beason Named President of Gilbarco North America

Also responsible for global marketing

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Gilbarco Veeder-Root said that Gregory H. Beason has been named president of Gilbarco North America.

In his new position, Beason has leadership responsibility for the company's entire North American business. He also has responsibility for Gilbarco's global marketing activities. He reports to Martin Gafinowitz, group executive of Gilbarco Veeder-Root. Beason will be based in the company's home base of Greensboro, N.C.

Beason was previously president of Danaher's Commercial Aerospace business. Previously, he [image-nocss] worked for 17 years at Allied Signal/Honeywell, where he held senior positions in general management, program management, operations, sales and marketing.

Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Gasboy are suppliers of integrated fuel control, site management, and support services for petroleum marketers and commercial fueling enterprises worldwide.
