Jackson Oil Rings Roswell's Bell

Company to supply 10 Bell gas stations

ROSWELL, N.M. -- Ten Bell Gas gas stations in Arizona will begin offering branded fuel for the first time following the signing of an agreement between the Roswell, N.M.-based company and Jackson Oil Inc., Meridian, Idaho.

We'll supply them with Texaco-branded Texaco product, Tony Stone, president of Jackson Oil, told CSP Daily News. These particular sites have been unbranded for quite some time. They do have some branded outlets, but these particular sites were all unbranded.

Bell Gas is a long-time operator of stations [image-nocss] in Arizona since 1983. The new supply agreement at initially 10 stations will allow Jackson Oil to convert the stations to the Texaco image.

All 10 locations will be upgraded with the Gilbarco Encore 500 series gasoline dispensers. All the locations will continue to be independently operated by the Bell Gas retailers. The changeover will take effect immediately.

Attempts to reach Bell Gas representatives for comment were unsuccessful; however, Stone said the new relationship came out of a cold call by one of Jackson Oil's marketing representatives. He added that Jackson Oil is currently talking with Bell about rebranding more of its stations in New Mexico.
