Retailer Sheetz will start the new year by decreasing diesel fuel prices by 50 cents a gallon at each of its more than 665 locations that offer this grade. This reduction will result in a savings of approximately $10 for midsize trucks, $12 for full-size trucks and $60 for semi-trailers on average, the retailer said. The offer officially started Jan. 10 and ends on Jan. 31.

  • Sheetz is No. 13 on CSP’s 2022 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by company-owned store count.

The price will be decreased from the original diesel price listed at each Sheetz location. This offer will include both auto diesel fuel and truck diesel fuel options.

Last September, Sheetz celebrated Truck Driver Appreciation Week by reducing diesel fuel prices to $4.49 a gallon for the entire month. Sheetz further showed its appreciation by offering truck drivers free meals in September, it said.

And in November,  the retailer kicked off the holiday season at its convenience stores by reducing the price of Unleaded 88 gasoline to $1.99 a gallon for one week.

During this current promotional period, the price displayed at the pump is the final purchase price and reflects the price rollback.

Established in 1952 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Sheetz Inc. operates more than 670 store locations throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Ohio and North Carolina.
