WASHINGTON -- The Nominating Committee of the Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America (SIGMA) officially nominate a slate for the association's board of directors. Members nominated to serve three-year terms include Doug Hartley, president of The Hartley Co., Cambridge, Ohio; Jeff Lykins, president and CEO of Lykins Energy Solutions, Milford, Ohio; Max McBrayer, chief supply officer of RaceTrac Petroleum Inc., Atlanta; and Brian Young, Vice President, Young Oil Inc., Piedmont, Ala.
The committee also nominated the following officers:
- Tom Gresham, president and CEO of Double Quick Inc., Indianola, Miss., for SIGMA president.
- David Baker, vice president of sales and marketing for Warrenton Oil Co., Warrenton, Mo., for SIGMA first vice president.
- William Bradford Puryear, general counsel of Mansfield Systems, Gainesville, Ga., for SIGMA second vice president.
- David Collins, vice president of Wilson Fuel Co. Ltd. in Halifax, Nova Scotia, for SIGMA secretary-treasurer.
The board of directors will be confirmed by a membership vote on Nov. 12, 2014, at the annual business meeting in Nashville, Tenn.
Tom Schmidt, executive chairman of the board of U.S. Venture Inc. in Appleton, Wis., will serve as SIGMA's immediate past-president.
Other continuing board members include Robert Coleman, president of Coleman Oil Co., Lewiston, Idaho; Erin Graziosi, vice president of supply and transportation for Robinson Oil Corp., Santa Clara, Calif.; Richard Guttman, president of Guttman Energy Inc., Belle Vernon, Pa.; David Hutchinson, president of Hutchinson Oil Co., Elk City, Okla.; Jeffrey LeBeouf, president of E.R. Vine Inc., Ceres, Calif.; Jack Pester, chairman of Pester Marketing Co., Houston; Kerry Oliver, senior vice president of Land N. America and president of CarterEnergy, World Fuel Services Inc., Overland Park, Kansas; and Joseph Zietlow, petroleum buyer for Kwik Trip Inc., La Crosse, Wis.
SIGMA is a national trade association representing fuel marketers and convenience store chain retailers in the United States and Canada. Its approximately 260 corporate members command more than 40% of the petroleum retail market, selling approximately 75 billion gallons of motor fuel each year.
