FAIRBURN, Ga. -- Edward and William Wyatt, owners of Geo. H. Green Oil Co., have announced that their annual charity fund raising efforts were successful in raising approximately $24,000 for their three adopted charity partners.
The charities include Greater Atlanta's "Empty Stocking Fund," in greater Atlanta; "Welcome House," Newnan, Ga.; and "In His Great Name Ministry," Fairburn, Ga.
"Despite a troubled economy and the highest unemployment rate in 50 years, the Green Oil employees...[at] Fairburn Family Travel Center collected $12,200 in just over 30 days, followed [image-nocss] by $4,200 from Greenway Mc Stop," the company said in a press announcement. "Green Oil out performed last year's total by an amazing 10.7%!"
The company offered "sincere and heartfelt appreciation to our stores and employees, our great office staff, generous vendors and especially to our wonderful customers for their caring generosity, demonstrating once again 'the Reason for the Season'."

Green Oil, established in 1923, offer a variety of services to both residential and business fuel clients in South Fulton, Fayette, Coweta, Douglas and Clayton counties in Georgia.
