NACS Breakfast Promises Inspiration

Industry expert David Nelson headlines program

LAS VEGAS -- "Work represents a significant part of our lives, but our lives have a significance that goes well beyond our work," said David Nelson. "Our annual breakfast allows people of faith to begin the day together with a time of sharing and encouragement, and then it's obviously go, go, go at the NACS Show."

Nelson, a study group founder who works with more than 250 convenience store and retail petroleum chains, will headline this year's NACS Inspirations of Faith Breakfast. The breakfast is open to anyone attending the NACS Show, and will be held Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 7:00 a.m. in Room N233 of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Breakfast sandwiches, coffee and tea will be served. There is no advance registration or fees required to participate; however, attendees will be invited to make a donation to help defray the cost.

Very active with NACS, Nelson is perhaps best known for his role at the annual NACS State of the Industry event held each spring, where he provides an overview of the U.S. economy and offers insights into the coming months. Nelson was also a founding partner in CSX LLC, which today is owned by NACS and is used as the industry tool to provide benchmarking information for petroleum marketers and convenience store operators.

Those interested in attending the breakfast are asked to RSVP to Tom Severson of Severson Oil at toms@seversonoil.com.
