Station Operator Files for Bankruptcy

Ohio-based B&R Oil has been a defendant in several lawsuits
DAYTON, Ohio -- B&R Oil Inc., a gas station operator based in Mason, Ohio, has filed for Chapter 7 protection in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, reported The Dayton Daily News.

B&R Oil listed assets of $308,131 and liabilities of $783,647 in the July 16 filing, said the report.

In the bankruptcy filing, the company listed its ending date as 2008.

The company has been a defendant in several lawsuits filed in 2008 in Greene, Warren and Butler counties in Ohio that resulted in judgments of more than $630,000 against B&R Oil. The company also was foreclosed [image-nocss] upon, said the report, with some of its property sold at sheriff's sale in Butler County on March 26.

The company's president, Randall Nistler, could not immediately be reached for comment by the newspaper.

Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings usually lead to the liquidation of a company, said the Daily News.
