RAPHINE, Va. -- TravelCenters of America LLC, owner of Petro Stopping Centers, has announced the opening of the 66th Petro full-service travel center. The site is located at Exit 205 off I-64/I-81 in Raphine, Va., the former site of White's Truckstop.
The Raphine Petro is a large, high-traffic facility. Its accommodations include: 250 truck parking spaces. 16 fueling lanes. 11 private showers. 175-seat Iron Skillet Restaurant. Petro:Lube with six service bays. Fully stocked 5,300-square-foot travel store. CAT Truck Scales. A truck wash. Driver's lounge, [image-nocss] TV/movie room and video arcade. Laundry facilities. WiFi, ATM, check cashing, copying and faxing. "It's great to be opening this site and providing drivers another full-service travel center on the highway," said TA president and CEO Tom O'Brien. "This location provides motorists a stopping point on I-81 and I-64 in southwest Virginia, where they can enjoy a hot meal, plenty of parking, shopping and a full range of other amenities. Petro is consistently 'voted best' in travel center surveys; we're happy to be able to deliver more of what drivers want in Raphine."
