Which chains rank highest among America's largest private companies?

NEW YORK -- Truckstop and convenience-store retailers, oil companies and fuel suppliers were well represented in PrivCo’s ranking of America’s Largest Private Companies for 2015.

2015 PrivCo 100

New York City-based PrivCo screened through its proprietary Private Company Financial Database information on more than 850,000 private companies to rank the PrivCo 100, its ranking of the top 100 privately held companies in the United States based on 2014 revenue.

31. Cumberland Gulf Group of Cos., Framingham, Mass.

45. QuikTrip, Tulsa, Okla.

61. Giant Eagle, Pittsburgh.

63. Wawa, Wawa, Pa.

65. RaceTrac, Atlanta.

68. Hy-Vee, West Des Moines, Iowa.

74. Mansfield Oil, Gainesville, Ga.
