4 Fiery Flavors in Snacks, Beverages

It has spanned meat snacks, chips, gummy candy and now, beer.

Tajin and Bud Light
Tajin, a chili lime seasoning brand based in Houston, partnered with Bud Light to launch the new St. Louis-based Bud Light Chelada Tajín Chile Limón. This innovation blends Tajín's mild chili peppers, lime and sea salt with the lager for a mildly spicy combination.
“Our partnership with Bud Light delivers on our shared values sparking moments of joy for consumers who have patiently awaited the introduction of a Tajin Chelada in partnership with America's preferred beer brand, Bud Light,” said Haydee Fernández, director of alliances for Tajin USA International. “The new Bud Light Chelada Tajín Chile Limón is an authentic offering poised to be well received by consumers who seek to make it their beverage of choice as they enjoy key moments with those who matter most.”
The drink is in stores now in 25-ounce cans.
“Bud Light has a deep understanding of our fan base and their preferences—whether that be their passions, habits or the flavors they love,” said Steve Wolf, vice president of marketing for Bud Light Extensions. “We're thrilled to be joining forces with the beloved Tajín brand and kick things up a notch with our new Bud Light Chelada Tajín Chile Limón which is certain to give Chelada fans that mildly spicy combination they are looking for.”
Pringles
The Kellogg Co., Battle Creek, Michigan, is rolling out two new spicy Pringles flavors that will be exclusively available at 7-Eleven convenience stores.
The first of the two flavors is Pringles Las Meras Meras Habaneras, featuring the taste of roasted habanero chili peppers, lime and salt. The second new flavor, Pringles Enchilada Adobada, offers the flavor of adobo, hot chili peppers, lime and salt.
“We are excited to give Pringles fans in the U.S. a chance to try these flavors, which are proven performers in Mexico,” said Melissa Esshaki, senior manager of commercial strategy for small format at Kellogg Co. “Our goal is to bring the authentic flavors of Mexico to our customers, and we believe these new Pringles varieties will deliver on that promise.”
A promotion on the products, two cans for $6, will be offered from May 24 to June 27, and the Pringles will be available through early 2024.
Country Archer
A new snack line from Los Angeles-based Country Archer includes two flavors of smoked sausages, original and fuego.
The original sausage flavor is a blend of natural smoke and spices including cracked pepper and garlic. Fuego blends red and white pepper, habanero and chili powder.
“Our mission at Country Archer is to deliver a premium snacking experience, with clean, better-for-you ingredients and mind-blowing tastes and textures,” said Eugene Kang, co-founder and CEO of Country Archer Provisions. “Based on the overwhelming love for our zero-sugar jerky line and grass-fed meat sticks, we wanted to create a smoked sausage line that has that nostalgic campfire taste and meaty texture with the same benefits of having no sugar or the questionable ingredients you typically find in other sausages.”
The snack has 9 grams of protein per serving, 100 calories and no sugar.
Country Archer sausage bites are available at Wawa convenience stores.
Jack Link’s
Jack Link’s, Minong, Wisconsin, and Frito-Lay, Plano, Texas, partnered to create Jack Link’s Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili flavored and Flamin’ Hot flavored Original beef jerky and meat sticks.
“Jack Link's has always been about pushing boundaries and bringing bold experiences to our fans through our high-quality meat snacks,” said Stephanie Leibke, vice president of marketing for Jack Link's. “Through this legendary collaboration with Frito-Lay, we can take consumers on the next epic snacking adventure we know they are hungry for.”
Both flavors are offered in a 2.65-ounce bag format with a suggested retail price of $8.49. The snack also comes in a meat stick variety, in 0.92-ounce packages with a suggested retail price of $1.79. All flavors and sizes are available nationwide.
