Kraft Foods to Appoint Osanloo as Strategy EVP

Brings strategic CPG expertise to company

NORTHFIELD, Ill. -- Kraft Foods Inc. said that Michael Osanloo will join the company as executive vice president of strategy in mid-April. In this role, he will be responsible for Kraft's portfolio strategy and assisting the business units in identifying strategic opportunities that will drive profitable growth.

Osanloo brings "exceptional" strategic consumer packaged goods (CPG) expertise to Kraft, the company said.

Osanloo worked most recently at Harrah's Entertainment, where he held a variety of senior strategic and marketing roles. Prior to that, he was a partner in the retail [image-nocss] and consumer products practice at Bain & Co., where he helped improve the effectiveness of strategic, operational and marketing programs at various multibillion-dollar companies.

He will report to Kraft chairman and CEO Irene Rosenfeld and become a member of the Kraft Executive Team, based in Northfield, Ill.
