E-commerce technology company Altaine is collaborating with PDI Technologies to bring a new class of a digital sales platform to medium- and large-sized convenience-store chains in the United States.

“Positioning the unique aspects of a convenience or fuel brand succinctly to customers in an app with e-commerce capability can be challenging at the enterprise level where there are many remote sites to manage, back office and loyalty integrations are critical, and existing payment services may need to be leveraged,” said Warren Tobin, CEO of Altaine.

Altaine's Q-Jmp technology simplifies both the deployment and ongoing management for large enterprises, according to the company. Partnering with PDI gives Altaine access to retailer customers that could benefit from the quality and reassurance of a PDI-backed solution, Tobin said. “Q-Jmp integrates with PDI Technologies back-office systems so that together we cover all bases.”

The collaboration follows Altaine’s announcement last month that it became certified to integrate with PDI's Open Commerce API.

“PDI continues to integrate our enterprise and loyalty solutions with world-class providers, like the team at Altaine, to further connect convenience,” said PDI Director of Loyalty Solutions Kathryn Duque. “With this collaboration, we have an outstanding enterprise-grade solution that offers both depth and breadth of digital commerce functionality for our customers.”

London-based Altaine has 20 years of IP development, expertise and intelligence in the UK and Europe, according to the company. Its Q-Jmp is “a completely flexible platform that requires little to no code for expansion of services and integration with best-in-class complementary services, including loyalty, payments, point-of-sale (POS) systems and more,” the company said. “We eliminate years of development time and cost, enabling our customers to run highly successful digital commerce programs that maximize returns immediately.”

With 40 years of industry leadership, Alpharetta, Georgia-based PDI Technologies Inc. resides at the intersection of productivity and sales growth, delivering solutions that serve as the backbone of the convenience retail and petroleum wholesale ecosystem.
