WilcoHess Partners With Lowes Foods for Fuel Rewards

Grocer expands fuel rewards program

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- WilcoHess LLC has teamed up with Lowes Food Stores Inc., which has launched Lowes Foods Fuel Rewards at all Lowes Foods locations in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. For every $100 spent in any Lowes Foods store, customers will receive five cents off per gallon of gasoline at any WilcoHess or Lowes Foods fuel station.

There is no limit to the amount of Fuel Rewards a customer can earn, and they can be stacked so that customers can save 10, 15, 20 cents or more per gallon.

The Fuel Rewards program was previously only available at 20 Lowes Foods stores, most of which are located in close proximity to a Lowes Foods fuel station. By partnering with WilcoHess, Lowes Foods is now able to expand Fuel Rewards to all of its customers and provide redemption at more than 200 WilcoHess fuel centers.

Steve Hall, Lowes Foods' president, said this partnership reflects how local companies can work together to improve the local economy. "We are thrilled to be able to partner with WilcoHess, another North Carolina-based company, to provide a new way for our customers to save money."

Lowes Foods customers who would like to begin earning Fuel Rewards must pick up a new Fresh Rewards loyalty card at their local Lowes Foods. The new loyalty cards will have a magnetic strip allowing customers to scan or swipe their card at the gas pump and redeem their Fuel Rewards.
