NATO Show 2013 Announces Dick Morris as Keynote Speaker

Tobacco industry will continue to be a focus of federal government

MINNEAPOLIS -- Five months after the 2012 presidential election, NATO will host Dick Morris, the most prominent American political consultant, as its keynote speaker for its 12th Anniversary & Trade Show. The 2013 NATO Show is scheduled for April 22-24, 2013, at the Paris, Las Vegas Hotel in Las Vegas.

"Whether we have re-elected our current president, have a new one or it's the Republican or Democratic party controlling Congress, the tobacco industry will continue to be a focus of the federal government." said NATO. Morris has been invited to share his insights and answer questions on how the industry can best prepare for the next four years.

Dick Morris has become well known for his probing, insightful, hard-hitting and clear commentary on the FoxNews channel. He is arguably best known for providing the strategy that engineered Bill Clinton's stunning comeback re-election victory in 1996, rescuing his presidency after he had lost control of Congress in 1994. Called "the most influential private citizen in America" by Time magazine, Morris steered Clinton back toward the center and was a key player in the Clinton administration initiatives that balanced the budget, cut taxes and reformed welfare.

With his wife, Eileen McGann, Morris has written 14 books, including 10 New York Times bestsellers such as Off With Their Heads, about the war on terror and Rewriting History and Because He Could, biographies of Hillary and Bill Clinton. Morris' and McGann's latest book is Revolt!--How to Defeat Obama & Repeal His Socialist Agenda, A Patriot's Guide.

"We've been fortunate to have such distinguished speakers at past NATO Shows and Dick Morris is no exception," said Andy Kerstein, president of NATO. "We're excited to hear Morris' take on the state of the nation as well as his predictions on how our businesses will be impacted by the legislative and regulatory environment under the 113th Congress and the then-elected president."

NATO's 12th Anniversary & Trade Show is the premier tobacco-industry show for retailers, manufacturers and distributors. In addition to the trade show, the meeting features a host of outstanding educational sessions, including keynote address by Dick Morris, that focuses on everything that tobacco retailers need to not only survive, but to thrive in a difficult sales and regulatory environment. Proceeds from the show go to support NATO's legislative efforts to help the industry.
