SOI 2019: Other Tobacco Products Lead Category Growth

CHICAGO — Other tobacco products grow a remarkable 23.6% in dollar sales in 2018, according to NACS preliminary State of the Industry data, relieving some of the pressure from the continued decline of cigarette sales. That added up to $11,878 dollars in sales per store per month.

At the same time, gross product percentage increase 30.0%, making OTP the third most lucrative category in c-stores today.

Sales of OTP averaged $11,878 per store per month in 2018, according to NACS.
