QSRs were aligned with c-stores in terms of consumers’ need for health when making a visit. Fifteen percent of respondents said the need for either healthy foods or real and wholesome ingredients drove their QSR visit, vs. 15.4% for c-stores.
Juice and smoothie chains ruled this category, with Jamba Juice scoring 52.9% and Tropical Smoothie Cafe scoring 51.3%. Where is health the lowest priority? Dairy Queen, with just 4.4% of consumers saying they visited the chain based on the need for healthy or real and wholesome food.
