Pilot Flying J (PFJ) upgraded the pumpkin-spice flavor profile with its Pumpkin Caramel Macchiato. During the fall season, PFJ also encourages customers to be their own barista with seasonal syrups for their coffee drinks. “As we move into the future, we will continue to see pumpkin-spice latte offerings breaking from form, getting out of latte and into other coffee forms,” said Shannon Johnson, vice president of food innovation for the chain.
