SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Alkaline88, a chemical-free, pH balanced alkaline water brand, recently expanded to more than 200 new convenience-store locations and across seven Core-Mark distribution centers.

Those c-store companies include FastTrip, Colbea, Kenk USA and C.N. Brown, according to Ricky Wright, president and CEO of The Alkaline Water Co. The company-owned and-serviced stores are primarily gas station locations operating under various banners including Shell, Mobil, CITGO and Arco, he said.

Most of the new accounts will carry Alkaline88’s gallon, 1.5-liters and 1-liter single-serve bottles.

We expect our single-serve offerings, which include eco-friendly aluminum bottles and flavor-infused waters, to drive substantial growth during our current fiscal year as a result of this increased distribution capacity,” Wright said.

The bottled alkaline water brand partnered with distributor Core-Mark last year to expand sales of its flagship product to more than 11,000 U.S. c-stores.

Alkaline Water Co. is based in Scottsdale, Ariz. Its products also include flavor-infused waters under the A88 Infused brand and CBD-infused products under the name A88CBD.

South San Francisco, Calif.-based Core-Mark offers a variety of products, marketing programs and technologies to more than 44,000 customer locations in the United States and Canada through 32 distribution centers. Core-Mark services traditional convenience retailers, grocers, drug, liquor and specialty stores, as well as other stores that carry convenience products.
