Barefoot to Roll Out Hard Seltzer

MODESTO, Calif. — Barefoot is jumping on the seltzer trend. Its latest drink, Barefoot Hard Seltzer, is rolling out in February nationwide.

The 8.4-ounce cans are made with Barefoot wine, seltzer water and natural flavor, according to the company, which recently released a Barefoot Spritzer

Each can has 70 calories, 2 grams of sugar and 4% ABV and is gluten-free. It comes in four flavors: Pineapple & Passion Fruit, Cherry & Cranberry, Peach & Nectarine and Strawberry & Guava.

The drink has a suggested retail price of $1.99 for a single can, $7.99 for a four-pack and $19.99 for a variety 12-pack.

Barefoot, Modesto, Calif., has 19 wine offerings and additional products such as Barefoot Bubbly sparkling wine and Barefoot Spritzer.

Other seltzers that have been released or will be available this spring include Corona Hard Seltzer, Truly Lemonade Seltzer and Bud Light Seltzer.
