PRESTON, Wash. — Talking Rain Beverage Co., maker of Sparkling Ice, launched a new bottled water.

Talking Rain Essentials Hydration is a functional alkaline water that features a 9.5 pH level and minerals and electrolytes for taste. It comes in a 1-liter bottle.

Talking Rain is also partnering with Waterboys, an initiative found by former professional football player Chris Long to provide clean, accessible drinking water to communities in need. Talking Rain will donate 20 cents for every Talking Rain Essentials Hydration 12-pack case purchased to support the charity.

“We could not be more thrilled to finally introduce Talking Rain Essentials Hydration to our roster of beverages and be aligned with a fantastic partner to give back to our communities,” said Chris Hall, CEO of Talking Rain. “With the rise in demand for alkaline waters on the market, we’re confident that consumers who are looking for the perfect balance of pH levels will appreciate the quality and taste of Essentials Hydration.”

The new beverage will be available in select retailers and foodservice channels in 2020 in Florida, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and the Pacific Northwest. It will expand to wider markets in 2021.

Talking Rain Beverage, Preston, Wash., has products in a wide range of flavors. Its drinks are made with zero sugar and naturally sourced colors. This summer, the company launched its first hard seltzer, Sparkling Ice Spiked.
