MIAMI Distributor Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits is expanding its distribution agreement with Phillips Distilling Co.

The new agreement moves the rest of Phillips Distilling Co.’s portfolio into Southern Glazer’s national distribution network, except for Iowa, Nebraska, the Dakotas and Minnesota. This will enable Phillips to enjoy significant route-to-market efficiencies and better benefits from Southern Glazer’s national scale and expertise, the companies said.

Before this new agreement, Princeton, Minn.-based Phillips Distilling Co. had a relationship with Southern Glazer’s in the central United States that expanded after Phillips in November 2021 acquired the Leroux and Kamora brands, which already were part of Southern Glazer’s distribution portfolio.

“We are excited to be strengthening our relationship with Phillips Distilling Co. and to have the opportunity to sell the full portfolio of their innovative cordials, liqueurs and spirits brands,” said Gene Sullivan, chief sales and marketing officer at Miami-based Southern Glazer’s. “They have a long, successful history, and we see great opportunity for them to continue to grow, particularly in the important on-premise channel.”

Andy England, CEO of Phillips Distilling Co., added that his company is looking forward to expanding its relationship with Southern Glazer’s because of “its premier capabilities, including their industry-leading Proof eCommerce platform, national accounts reach and deep expertise in the on-premise, which we can use to fuel future growth for our branded business across the United States and Canada.”

The portfolio of Phillips Distilling, a pioneer in breakthrough flavors and spirits innovation in North America for more than 109 years, includes Revel Stoke Whisky, UV Vodka, Prairie Organic Spirits and the recently acquired Leroux and Kamora brands.

Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, which recently partnered to distribute Denver-based Defy’s CBD beverage portfolio—and last year partnered with Atlanta-based Kill Cliff, which makes clean energy and CBD drinks–is a multigenerational family-owned company. It has operations in 44 U.S. states, the District of Columbia and Canada.
