RaceTrac's New Year Coffee Challenge

Retailer offers $1 promotion throughout January

ATLANTA --RaceTrac convenience stores are challenging coffee lovers to ditch their “expensive coffee habit” this January by offering any size coffee for $1.

"Come to RaceTrac this January to try a better brew for less without compromising quality," said Melanie Isbill, executive director of marketing for RaceTrac. "With our $1 coffee promotion, you can create your perfect coffee combination without breaking the bank."

RaceTrac's Crazy Good Coffee bar offers up to six blends of fresh brewed coffee: Columbian, Dark Roast, Decaf, Guatemalan, Hazelnut and Regular—all made from 100% Arabica beans. Guests are invited to customize their own beverage by selecting their favorite coffee blend and pairing it with a variety of regular and flavored creamers, sweeteners and add-ins such as whipped cream. The promotion is also extended to select RaceTrac stores that offer made-to-order specialty beverages, where guests can purchase a latte, mocha or cappuccino for a special price of $1.99 through Jan. 31.

Additionally, RaceTrac announced that it will introduce new coffee machines to stores in 2018. They will launch in select markets this January. The upgraded equipment will allow guests to select their favorite coffee blend while watching the coffee beans being ground.

Based in Atlanta, family-owned RaceTrac was founded in 1934 and now operates more than 450 convenience stores in Georgia, Florida, Louisiana and Texas. The chain ranked No. 18 in a year-end update of CSP’s 2017 Top 202 list of the largest c-store chains in the United States.
