LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Turning Point Brands Inc. has named Frank Vignone senior vice president of sales and marketing.
Vignone joined Turning Point Brands—a manufacturer, marketer and distributor of branded consumer products including alternative smoking accessories and consumables with active ingredients—in January 2018 as senior director national accounts. He has been vice president of sales since August 2019.
In addition to the sales team at Louisville, Ky.-based Turning Point Brands, Vignone also assumes responsibilities for the marketing department and international sales.
Vignone holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and finance from St. Thomas University in Miami, Fla. He was with Altria for 30 years, beginning his career there as a sales representative, and held various sales, marketing and trade relations leadership roles.
After leaving Altria, he started his own consulting business, providing services to large retailers and leading consumer-packaged goods companies. While maintaining his consulting business, Vignone also became a partner and vice president of sales for Global Brewing Solutions in Orlando, Fla.
Succeeding Frank as vice president of sales is Angela Reins, a 30-year industry leader. Reins holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Maryland. She began her career as territory sales manager with Altria in 1988. She was an award-winning, results driven sales leader with extensive experience in sales, marketing and account leadership, Turning Point Brands said, and she held a variety of management and leadership positions in field sales during her time there.
Turning Point Brands' products include alternative smoking accessories and consumables with active ingredients. Its products are available in more than 210,000 retail outlets in North America.
