Casey’s General Stores Inc. has promoted Sanjeev Satturu to the position of senior vice president and chief information officer. He succeeds Adrian Butler, who left the convenience-store chain in early March for another professional opportunity, a company spokesperson told CSP Daily News.
Satturu, previously vice president of information technology, will report to Casey’s CFO Steve Bramlage.
Before joining Casey’s in August 2021, Satturu was vice president of technology at Travelers Insurance, Hartford, Connecticut, and held several global digital and engineering positions at John Deere, Moline, Illinois, and Daimler Chrysler, Auburn Hills, Michigan. He was also a trainee engineer with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in India.
During his tenure at Casey’s, Butler “evolved Casey’s IT organization to better support our stores, team members and guests,” the spokesperson said.
Butler joined Casey’s in June 2020 in the newly created role of CIO to lead all information-technology strategy, innovation, modernization and delivery. Before that, he was senior vice president of information technology and CIO with Dine Brands Global, Glendale, California, parent company of the IHOP and Applebee’s fast-casual restaurant chains. Prior to Dine Brands, Butler spent four years at Minneapolis-based Target Corp. as vice president of business solutions security and senior director of technology services.
