Holiday Gets Hooks Into New Marketing Head

Consultant role made permanent

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Holiday Stationstores has announced that Brian Hooks will join the company as vice president of sales and marketing.

The addition of Brian Hooks to Holiday will be a great complement to our executive team, President and COO Brent Blackey said. The growth of our business and demands on our talent have created the need for this new position, which is well suited to Brian's strengths.

Hooks will be responsible for marketing, market analysis, product and brand development, pricing architecture, loyalty marketing [image-nocss] and advertising and promotion. He has worked with Holiday on a consulting basis for the past several months, and begins in his new role in July.

Hooks comes to Holiday most recently as president of Hooks Group, and as a former partner with Peterson Milla Hooks Advertising, the lead creative ad agency for Target Stores. Hooks also oversaw marketing and brand development for other clients including Mattel Inc and Radisson Hotels.

Holiday Stationstores, Bloomington, Minn., has more than 420 corporate and franchise gasoline convenience locations in 12 states throughout the upper tier of the United States, including Alaska. Holiday offers the Holiday Pantry food products program and is the sole distributor of Blue Planet cleaner gasoline.
