Holiday Oil Names 2 New C-Suite Leaders

Peterson and Facer to help drive ‘new era of growth and innovation’

Holiday Oil Co. announced “two key executive appointments” that it says “signal a new era of growth and innovation for the company.”

James Peterson has been appointed as the new chief operating officer, while Kim Facer assumes the role of chief financial officer. Both individuals have risen through the ranks of the company, “showcasing exceptional dedication and expertise, and are well-prepared to guide Holiday Oil into the future,” the company said.

Peterson (pictured above left) joined Holiday Oil as controller from Daily’s Premium Meats in 2017. A year later, he was promoted to chief financial officer. He now will lead operations. Facer joined Holiday Oil as vice president of finance in February following stints with Target, Sears Holdings and, most recently, Vivint Smart Home, among other roles.

Founded by Jerry Wagstaff in 1964, West Valley, Utah-based Holiday Oil provides fuel and convenience services to central and northern Utah communities. Following Jerry Wagstaff's passing in 2022, the legacy of the family business has been carried forward by sons Mike and Scott Wagstaff, supported by their families. The foundation laid by the founders has been crucial in building the brand's strong reputation within the community.
