OKLAHOMA CITY -- Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. opened 35 new travel stop locations and more than 2,900 new truck parking spaces in 2018. The company’s plans for 2019 include opening more than 40 new locations, which will bring its total store count to more than 500 sites nationwide.

The chain also intends to add thousands of new truck parking spaces and expand on-site truck and tire care services.

"We aim to surpass our customers' needs and are dedicated to improving the lives of professional drivers," said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love's. "The truck parking shortage is a continued focus for us, which is why we plan to add more than 3,000 truck parking spaces at new travel stops this year. The addition of more than 30 Love's Truck Tire Care and Speedco locations will also provide our customers with many more convenient, affordable and reliable options to get them back on the road quicker. We're eager to add these additional resources for our customers to enjoy."

Love's acquired the Speedco lube and tire maintenance service for professional drivers in September 2017. It expanded its tire brand offerings into locations nationwide in 2018 to include Michelin, Goodyear, Yokohama, Aeolus, Kelly, Bridgestone, Dayton, BF Goodrich and Love's Retread tires.

Love's Retread tires are available in all Love's shops nationwide and are now available for direct delivery to fleet terminals across the country. The company plans to open a new retread distribution center this spring, with more distribution locations in the works.

Love’s subsidiary Trillium, a provider of alternative fuels systems and renewable fuels, now offers creative financing options for heavy-duty trucking transactions and will continue expanding its offerings this year with added electric-vehicle charging stations, solar panel installations, hydrogen fueling stations as well as additional compressed natural gas locations.

The Love's travel stop network includes more than 480 locations in 41 states. The Oklahoma City-based company also has more than 350 service centers, which include Speedco and on-site Love's Truck Tire Care locations.
