PONCA CITY, Okla. – Convenience-store retailer Jiffy Trip has opened a new-concept location in Ponca City, Okla.
The company in recent years has unveiled larger footprints, venturing further into foodservice and experimenting with drive-thrus. The new store highlights that strategy.
The 6,500-square-foot location offers a new restaurant called JT’s Made-to-Order. It provides fresh food options for any diet.
“We went through several months of testing and development in order to bring a menu that has something to offer for anyone who comes to eat at JT’s,” said Alex Williams, COO. "From black bean burgers and salads to fresh-made calzones and specialty coffees, the offerings far exceed the expectations of a convenience-store restaurant menu.”
JT’s features touchscreen ordering menus and a drive-thru.
“If someone wants a specialty coffee, a chicken and waffle sandwich or [to] pick up dinner on the way home, it can be done and they don’t have to leave their vehicle to do it,” Williams said.
Jiffy Trip recently enabled mobile ordering for its customers through Arlington, Texas-based Pinnacle Corp.’s Affiniti consumer mobile app and mobile ordering module.

One-stop shop
“We want to be that one-stop shop for everyone,” Williams said. “Whether you need a cold 12-pack of Gatorade for your kid's soccer game or pizza for the office luncheon, Jiffy Trip has got it covered.”
The store is the chain’s 29th. Jiffy Trip, a unit of Hammer-Williams Co., Enid, Okla., has been serving customers in central and northeastern Oklahoma for more than 45 years. It now has 28 locations.
