Rutter's Hires Director of Fuels

Kevan Anderson to oversee procurement, retail pricing, compliance, strategic initiatives

Rutter’s has hired Kevan Anderson as its new director of fuels. Anderson will oversee the day-to-day activities of the fuel team, including procurement, retail pricing, compliance and strategic initiatives. He will work directly for Chris Hartman, vice president of fuels, advertising and development.

“Kevan brings a great deal of expertise in fuels to Rutter’s and is a great addition to the team as we continue growing our extensive auto and commercial fueling business,” said Hartman. “With big expansion plans for our chain in the coming years, I believe Kevan will help us continue to elevate our fuels brand.”

Anderson has more than nine years of experience in the fuel industry. Prior to joining Rutter’s, Anderson was the manager of strategic initiatives at Peapod Digital Labs, a division of Ahold Delhaize. During his tenure, Anderson directed the fuel maintenance and regulatory team, as well as third-party service providers for 228 fuel retail locations and 15 distribution centers across five grocery store brands along the east coast. He also has experience with Sunoco and Susser Petroleum in various fuel related roles.

Rutter’s is a privately held chain of convenience stores based in York, Pennsylvania. It operates 84 locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia.
